Show Fountain Contractor to Test Fountain Choreography and Show Lighting for 715-Ton Pegasus Statue
Posted in News -
Location: Gulfstream Park, Hallandale Beach, Florida
Show fountain and theme contractor Outside the Lines (OTL) will be on-site at Hallandale Beach’s Gulfstream Park Dec. 9 and 10 testing the fountain choreography and show lighting for the park’s 11-story Pegasus statue.
Over two days, OTL show fountain designers and programmers will test the multiple show control panels and systems that will run the 210,500-gallon show fountain. During this time, the press will get a sneak peek at what promises to be a visual extravaganza involving the interplay of 14 pieces of music, 350 fog nozzles and 116 water nozzles with LED lighting.
When complete, the musical show fountain will bring to life an epic battle between Pegasus, a mythical winged stallion, and a fire-breathing dragon. The fire effect is expected to shoot some 15 to 20 feet of fire from the dragon’s mouth.
Best viewing/photography times will be between dusk and 9:30 p.m. on each day.
OTL president and art director Hugh F. Hughes will be available for scheduled interviews.
For site access or to schedule an interview, please contact Hugh Hughes at 714.713.5275.
