Standing at over 11 stories tall, the 100-foot Pegasus Statue clashes with a dragon in Gulfstream Park, Hallandale Beach, Florida. Mesmerizing bystanders, the battle comes to life amidst choreographed displays of fire, water, fog, lights and music. This duel of mythical winged titans is the second tallest statue in the mainland United States behind only the Statue of Liberty and is made of 330 tons of steel and 132 tons of bronze.

IDEA
The mythical winged stallion and a fire-breathing dragon surrounded by musical fountains battle in a 5D dome theater above an impressive rock formation. At night, the statue features a monumental fountain show with 13 musical pieces, 350 fog nozzles, 116 water nozzles, special LED lighting and a fire breathing dragon spewing its colossal 15-20 foot flame.
At 50 feet tall, 200 feet in length and 115 inches width, the dragon is the world's tallest equine and European dragon statue. With over 210 thousand gallons of water, this state-of-the-art show fountain is the first of its kind.
IMPACT
As the design build contractor for this feature, OTL worked closely with general contractor – Skanska USA and the owners Gulfstream Park. OTL was responsible for building and bringing this herculean show fountain to life through work that included all MEP, lighting, audio architecture, pyrotechnics, theatrical lighting, creative programming and choreography.
