Renaissance at Colony Park Phase II built its identity around a showstopping fountain. OTL designed and built the centerpiece for this open-air retail and dining destination, giving the property a concert-quality water show unlike anything else in the region.

CHALLENGE
The Mattiace Company wanted a landmark that would announce the center’s arrival to drivers on the adjacent interstate and give the property a sense of place tied to Mississippi itself.
OTL’S
SOLUTION
Working with a contracting and architecture team, OTL wove Mississippi’s interwoven-S state emblem into the fountain’s design. Sixty-two nozzles, including robotic multi-axis units, send water up to 35 feet into the air, while a central jet reaches 100 feet, visible from I-55. More than 200 color-changing LED lights and a custom eight-speaker, four-subwoofer audio system choreograph water, light and music into concert-quality shows, all controllable remotely and built to add new effects without demolition.
That fountain now anchors Renaissance at Colony Park as its entertainment hub, drawing shoppers and guests from near and far while giving the center a visual identity rooted in its Mississippi home.
