Getting to Know OTL’s Senior Project Engineer, Austin King
Posted in Insights -
For several years, in our newsletter and throughout our social media platforms, OTL has been spotlighting team members who are key to the success of our company.
While OTL is known throughout the USA and internationally for designing, building and maintaining magnificent water features, rockwork and themed environments, our company’s true foundation is our people. OTL simply would not be the same without our incredibly talented, dedicated, and caring team.
This month’s Team Spotlight is devoted to Senior Project Engineer, Austin King. A true asset to the construction side of OTL’s business, Austin joined the company in March of this year. He is responsible for supporting our teams in the field on site and with pre-construction, as well as assisting project managers with whatever might be needed for a particular project.
We spoke with Austin about what drew him to OTL and what he is looking forward to accomplishing at our company.
What attracted Austin to OTL: The types of projects that OTL works on looked extremely interesting. It’s very rewarding to work on everything from smaller fountains to much larger and more intricate projects.
Best part about being on the OTL team: The people! Everyone at OTL is genuinely happy to be here, and it shows.
Fun fact about Austin: I played lacrosse at University of California Irvine. Zot zot!
What he is excited about accomplishing at OTL: I’m excited to expand my knowledge. Fountains involve a number of different trades, and there are little nuances to all of them. There’s a lot to it, and that provides many opportunities to learn more.
Stay tuned for Team Spotlights featuring more of OTL’s outstanding team members.
