Getting to Know OTL’s Business Developer Scott Strasner
Posted in Insights -
Since 2020, in our newsletter and throughout our social media platforms, we have been spotlighting team members who are key to the success of our company.
While OTL is known throughout the USA and internationally for designing and building magnificent water features, rockwork and themed environments, our company’s true foundation is our people. OTL simply would not be the same without our incredibly talented, dedicated, and caring team.
This month’s Team Spotlight is devoted to our Business Developer, Scott Strasner. Scott joined our firm in March 2023 and hit the ground running. He is adept at helping OTL to expand its business by developing new relationships and building upon existing ones. Scott produces and drives business for us and is in charge of generating new client business through networking and following up on recommendations. We are so thankful he is on board!
Scott spoke with us about why he was drawn to OTL and told us an exciting fun fact about himself.
What attracted you to OTL?
I was attracted to the ambitious desire for growth at OTL. Working with several people at the firm in the past also played a huge factor: their happiness and insight into the company and its leadership solidified my desire to be a part of the team.
What is the best part about being on the OTL team?
I am constantly learning from leadership and colleagues, while being able to provide input as well. There is nothing better than great mentors and managers who are willing to share knowledge and business practices to help advance my personal development.
Can you share a fun fact about yourself that readers may not know?
I worked as a wildland firefighter and EMT for six years out of high school on the West Coast – chasing fire, flying in helicopters, and almost always sleeping on the smoky mountainside.
What are you excited about accomplishing with OTL?
I’m hoping to make a large impact in helping the company grow through new and existing relationships across the country.
Stay tuned for Team Spotlights featuring more of OTL’s outstanding team members.
