The owner of Lakeshore Towers, an iconic Southern California mixed-use office property, recognizing the value in this strategy, tasked General Contractor Snyder Langston, along with architect Gensler and landscape architect Wimmer Yamada and Caughey, with the creation of an artfully designed office project that infuses nature with today’s corporate aesthetic.

Blending Artful Design With Corporate Aesthetics

OTL was hired to design and build a stunning, two-sided entry fountain, which features a series of geometric stepped waterfalls on one side with a water wall on the other. The visual composition, supported by such a display’s requisite technical precision, creates a calming ambiance for office tenants and visitors.

OTL also designed black granite cube fountains that are interspersed throughout the 865,000 square-foot office campus, bridging the corporate offices and new natural amenities.

These cube fountains, with their glassy-smooth reflective water surfaces, present a challenge when it comes to managing water supply; the effect is ruined when unsightly ripples upset the surface.

Lakeshore Towers is owned by Lakeshore Towers Limited Partnership under State Street Global Advisors,  the investment management division of State Street Corporation and the world’s third largest asset manager, with nearly $2.8 trillion in assets under management.
