Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
At the Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia guests are destined for luxury and enchantment at this magnificent Resort. Rockwork features at the swimming pool make it much more than just a place to just swim and sun. An arching rock bridge spans the pool and invites guests to explore the space above and on both sides of the water, while a grotto attracts guests to a hidden vista in the lagoon below. OTL designed and constructed the artificial rockwork for the bridge and a 40-foot-high stone feature in the grotto.
Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villages and Spa
Indian Wells, California
In Indian Wells, California guests are greeted with a magnificent fountain as they enter the charming Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villages and Spa. The vertical fountain, designed and constructed by OTL artisans, is a symbol of the luxury and elegance throughout this desert oasis. OTL also completed fountains that leap from the roofline into the lit runnel fountain below at the villa promenade. The fountains are the perfect complement to the property’s lush landscaped gardens.
Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village
Westlake Village, California
Serenity seekers head for the peaceful surroundings at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, California, a hotel and spa where water features encourage inner peace. Outside the Lines team artfully placed real rock and completed water features that enhance the retreat’s natural environment. On the banks of the koi pond, hotel guests are invited to meditate, while an expansive lush waterfall garden forms a calming visual backdrop. The rockwork and water features blend so well into the landscape they look like Mother Nature created them long before the hotel was even built.
The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City
Johannesburg South Africa
At The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City in Johannesburg, South Africa, everything is larger than life at this fairytale African palace, one of the largest resorts in the world. This resort has a unique African rhythm all of its own. OTL’s team designed and constructed 200,000 square feet of artificial rockwork, 12 formal fountains, spas, a wave pool and numerous other pools throughout the sprawling property. Inspired by Africa’s rugged bushveld, OTL’s artisans also carved large iconic sculptural pieces, such as lions and monkeys, in the face of the rockwork.
JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort
Phoenix, Arizona
A lake teeming with aquatic plants provides a refreshing oasis at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. OTL’s team designed and constructed the lake, which meanders throughout the dining terraces and to the beach before disappearing behind this high-end resort. The sparkling waterway provides peaceful surroundings, whether guests view it at eye level or overlook the lake from the hotel’s verandas.
